Home visits and long-term care home medical services are provided within Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do. Telephone consultations are available regardless of where you live. Home visits take travel time, so not many clinics offer them. Jinju Dangdang Korean Medicine Clinic has been doing so for several years.

Who is eligible
Long-term care recipients living at home whose attending doctor judges that limited mobility makes home medical care necessary; grades 1 and 2 take priority.

How a visit is staffed
Under this program an attending doctor, a nurse and a social worker visit as a team and connect the household with the community care services it needs.

Who we work with
We have an agreement with the Jinju Council on Social Welfare and visit older adults and people with disabilities who have difficulty moving.

Q. Which day of the week do you visit?
A. We do not fix a day. Circumstances differ from patient to patient, so call us and we will agree on a time together.
Q. Do I have to live in Jinju for a telephone consultation?
A. No. Telephone consultations are available wherever you live. Home visits and home medical care, however, are limited to Jinju.
Q. How do I apply for the home medical center?
A. The steps depend on whether you have a long-term care grade and what help you need. Call us first and describe your situation, and we will guide you.
