Measure, treat, measure again

"Better" is how the patient feels; whether it is better is something you have to measure.
At Jinju Dangdang we measure before treatment, measure again the same way afterwards, and review what changed together.
We record a pain scale for nearly every patient, and where needed we add gait and foot pressure analysis, body composition, infrared thermography and ultrasound.

Where it hurts and where the cause sits can differ

Posture correction and jaw joint correction reach the hidden causes behind a wide range of conditions.
Seen as one connected whole rather than separate parts, the body shows cases where low back pain starts at the foot and neck pain starts at the jaw.
So we do not treat the symptom alone; we look at the structure that produced it.

Work in the community

What we have done in Jinju

Our director has served on the board of the Jinju Korean Medicine Association since 2016 and as a director of the Gyeongsangnam-do Korean Medicine Association since 2019.
In 2020, as chair of the association's COVID-19 response committee, he joined medical volunteer work for confirmed patients with staff during the early spread in Daegu, and received a commendation from the Association of Korean Medicine.
The clinic has an agreement with the Jinju Council on Social Welfare and continues local volunteer work.
Since March 2022 he has written a monthly health column for the Gyeongnam Ilbo.
